"CHRIST IS ALL AND IN ALL"
(Colossians 3:9-17)
Intro: Racism and Bigotry have not a place in Christianity. Christians may say "I'm not prejudiced" or "I'm not a bigot", but inside all of us there might be lying a "Closet Racist". It may show itself in our thoughts, in our speech, in our actions; small, subtle things that keep us from being of the same mind and spirit with all mankind.
A Test: To see if you might be a
"Closet Racist".
1. Do you tell jokes that demean or degrade people of other races or backgrounds.
2. Do you laugh at jokes that demean or degrade people of other races or backgrounds.
3. Do you secretly believe that people of other races or backgrounds are particularly:
stupid, smart, dirty, lazy, thrifty,
angry, stubborn, criminal, untrustworthy, or talented.
4. Do you automatically clutch your purse, check your wallet or lock your doors when you
see a person of another race walk by.
5. Do you secretly believe that you are more superior than a particular race of person.
If you answered "YES" to any of these questions, you are part of the problem which continues to separate the peoples of the world! We must understand that Christianity and Racism does not mix! Why? READ Colossians 3:9-17.
